Growing up, she loved to watch cartoons and play video games, which has not changed all that much in her adulthood. This love was translated directly to paper, and nowadays onto pixels, as she continues to develop her art today. She loves to create, which has lately been taken form in her many webcomic, video game, and children's book projects. She is passionate about empathetic storytelling and creating more accessible platforms.
She is currently working on developing her skills in digital art and UI/UX.
She studied at University of California, San Diego, graduating with a degree in Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts (ICAM) and recently completed a product design course with Seasons of Design.
After working as the Assistant Director and a Technical Instructor at a San Diego-based art studio, Michelle attended a remote 8-week product design bootcamp to learn more about user experience design and the steps necessary to prototype, test, and iterate to a good solution.
